Programme Overview

Wherever we live in today’s world, information and communication technologies increasingly influence our human lives, our Christian witness, and our Christian ministries. The varieties of local, global, and glocal media messages make for a challenging context in which to make the case for the truth of Christ and to live as a disciple of Christ in the 21st century. The missional discipleship issues related to the media are therefore extremely important for the global church.

This Year-Round Mentoring provides a learning community with biblical and missiological foundations, conceptual frameworks, and practical tools for personal and professional growth as a leader and media communicator.

GOAL

To mentor and provide evangelical leaders and influencers who are media communicators with a learning community for increased understanding of the various facets and contexts of media engagement to enable sharing of creative ideas, reflections, and mutual encouragement.

PARTICIPANTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Ten to fifteen leaders or influencers who are currently actively involved in media or journalism, whether in church, parachurch or mission contexts, the mainstream media, or in the academy. These leaders should be willing to commit to being part of a learning community.

The program starts with a Pre-Forum Seminar at the European Leadership Forum on May 16, 2026, from 14:00-17:30. For this purpose, you must also be registered and accepted to the 2026 ELF. Please use this link to read more about ELF and how to apply.
