Programme Overview
GOAL
To help participants understand the issues raised in giving a new dynamic to existing churches, to think through what the concept of revitalisation could look like in the European context, and to share experiences in order to encourage one another.
PARTICIPANTS
Ten to twelve people who are willing to commit to become part of a learning community.
QUALIFICATIONS
The expectation is that the participants be involved in, or potentially involved in, church revitalisation. This would probably be as a denominational leader or local pastor, but at least in a situation where the ideas raised can be applied in the ministry of the participants.

2027 Pre-Forum Seminar: 22 May, Saturday: 14:00 - 17:30, or a one-on-one meeting with David or Daniel at the 2027 Forum
Four 1.5-hour webinars with webinar assignments
Three-day December Retreat from noon to noon on 29 November-1 December 2027 in Budapest, Hungary.
2028 Pre Forum Conference: from Friday, 19 May, through Saturday, 20 May. Participants will still need to apply for the Forum and will be responsible for paying Forum fees in order to participate in the 2028 Forum. Participants must also pay for their own travel expenses.
YRM Leaders
David Brown has been involved in church ministry in France for many years: he has planted three churches (two in Nancy and one in the Paris suburbs), and then revitalised a church in central Paris. At the same time, he was involved for several years with the GBU (Groupes Bibliques Universitaires), the French student movement affiliated with IFES, first as General Secretary, and then as chair of the board. In recent years he has been promoting church revitalisation through his chairmanship of the Evangelism Commission of the French “National Council of Evangelicals” and through his teaching and mentoring at the Bible Institutes in Geneva and Paris and by leading a range of seminars and workshops in France and across Europe. He has written 15 books, mainly on the interface between culture and the Christian faith, and a book on church revitalisation, Reconnect your Church, which has been translated into several languages.
Daniel Fodorean is the Academic Dean and Associate Professor of Applied Ecclesiology and Law at the Baptist Theological Institute of Bucharest. He also serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Faculty of Baptist Theology, University of Bucharest, and in the Doctor of Ministry (DMin) program offered by Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary through its extension in Ukraine. He is the Director of the Leader Formation Center and Coordinator and Strategist of the Antioch Church Network. He is also a founder of the Constanța Baptist Association. With nearly 32 years of experience in pastoral ministry and church revitalization, Daniel has developed expertise in church transformation and revitalization, organizational and church leadership, church law and administration, mission and church planting, and pre-university and university Christian education.He is the author or co-author of five books, eleven studies, and thirteen specialized articles.
